Celine Pouches Sewing Pattern: Fun with Flex Frames

This sewing pattern provides six options to create a fun flex frame pouches (or drawstring pouches), all with the same size of flex frame hardware (10cm). These beginner-friendly pouches are perfect for small gifts and to store all sorts of small items: jewelry, crafting notions, coins, lip balm, ear buds, gift cards, etc. Pouch C in size regular is perfect for reading glasses, while the size tall is designed to hold sunglasses. Finished dimensions:

Pouch A: 5.25” x 4.75” (13cm x 12cm)

Pouch B: 5.25” x 5.25” (13cm x 13cm)

Pouch C: 4.25” x 7.25” (Regular) (10.8cm x 18.5cm)

               4.25” x 8” (Tall) (10.8cm x 20.5cm)

Pouch D: 4.25” x 5” x 1” (10.8cm x 12.7cm x 2.5cm)

Pouch E: 5.5” x 5” x 1.5” (14cm x 12.7cm x 3.7cm)

All dimensions are available in inches and in centimeters.

MATERIALS REQUIRED for 1 pouch:

- Exterior fabric: fat quarter (1/4 metre) of quilting cotton 

- Contrast exterior fabric: fat quarter (1/4 metre) of quilting cotton 

- Lining fabric: fat quarter (1/4 metre) of quilting cotton 

- 1/4 yard (1/4 metre) fusible fleece interfacing: Pellon TP971F or Vlieseline H640

- Optional but recommended: scraps of medium weight woven fusible interfacing: EB-Fuse light, Pellon SF-101 or Vlieseline G700

- 3.9” (10cm) metal flex frame

- Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter or scissors, iron, Wonder Clips or pins, disappearing fabric pen or fine chalk pen

- Pair of pliers
