This bundle consists of 2 patterns: the Fundamental Zipper Pouch sewing pattern, and the Add-On Contrast Bottom for the Fundamental Zipper Pouch. These patterns are also sold separately.

The Fundamental Zipper Pouch PDF DOWNLOADABLE SEWING PATTERN is written in English, with measurements both in INCHES and CENTIMETERS.  Pattern pieces ARE included.

The Fundamental Zipper Pouch pattern aims to teach fundamental zipper bag sewing skills to the beginner sewist. The pattern provides varied pouch dimensions that will allow for a versatile use for the seasoned sewist. These pouches have a nice range of uses, from pencil case, cosmetic bag, to large project bag. They will be a great addition to your booth at the craft market, and will be also appreciated as gifts.

You will receive 10 pages of comprehensive and clear step-by-step instructions and color photos that will teach you how to make this beautiful pouch in 4 different sizes. The link to an exclusive YouTube video tutorial is included in the pattern for visual learners. 

Finished dimensions (Length x Height x Depth):
Small (S): 8.25” x 4.5” x 2”  (21 x 11.5 x 5cm)
Medium (M): 9.25” x 6” x 3” (23.5 x 15.4 x 8cm)
Large (L): 11.25” x 7.25 x 4” (28 x 18.5 x 10.5cm)
X-Large (XL): 13.25” x 9 x 5” ( 33.7 x 23 x 12.7cm)

MATERIALS REQUIRED for 1 pouch:
- Exterior fabric: fat quarter (half yard/half meter for XL) of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas
- Lining fabric: fat quarter (half yard/half meter for XL) of quilting cotton 
- ½  yard (½  metre) fusible fleece interfacing: Pellon TP971F or Vlieseline H640
- And for L and XL pouches: ½ to 1 yard (½ to 1  metre) medium weight woven fusible interfacing depending on width: EB-Fuse light, Pellon SF-101 or Vlieseline G700
- S pouch: #3 nylon zipper tape or dress zipper 9” (23cm) minimum 
- M pouch: #3 nylon zipper tape or  dress zipper 10” (26cm) minimum; OR:
#4.5 or #5 nylon zipper tape or handbag zipper 10” (26cm) minimum
- L pouch: #4.5 or #5 nylon zipper tape or handbag zipper 12” (31cm) minimum 
- XL pouch: #4.5 or #5 nylon zipper tape or handbag zipper 14” (36cm) minimum
- Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter
- iron
- Wonder clips or pins
- Disappearing fabric pen or fine chalk pen
- Zipper foot

The ADD-ON Contrast Bottom for the Fundamental Zipper Pouch PDF DOWNLOADABLE SEWING PATTERN is written in English, with measurements both in INCHES and CENTIMETERS. Pattern pieces ARE included. The original Fundamental Zipper Pouch Pattern is NECESSARY to complete the project. 

You will receive 5 pages of comprehensive and clear step-by-step instructions and color photos that will teach you how to make the contrast exterior panel in 4 different sizes. The link to an exclusive YouTube video tutorial is included in the pattern for visual learners. 

Difficulty level: Advanced Beginner

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS REQUIRED for 1 pouch:
Contrast fabric for bottom exterior: fat quarter of quilting cotton, light canvas or Essex linen. Cork fabric or vinyl may also be used but interfacing may not be necessary based on the thickness of your material.
