MATERIALS REQUIRED for 1 bag:
- Exterior fabric: 0.75 yard/0.75 metre of quilting cotton, cotton canvas, waxed canvas, waterproof canvas, home decor fabric or Essex linen.
- Contrast exterior fabric: 0.5 yard/metre of waxed canvas, cotton canvas, waterproof canvas, home decor fabric or Essex linen.
- Lining fabric: 0.5 yard/0.5 metre of quilting cotton, light canvas, Essex linen or light waterproof canvas.
- Medium weight woven fusible interfacing: EB-Fuse light, Pellon SF-101 or Vlieseline G700. Quantity varies depending on bag size and type of fabrics used, maximum 2.5 yards (2.5 metres) for L bag.
- If using quilting cotton for exterior: fusible fleece interfacing (instead of medium weight woven interfacing): Pellon TP971F or Vlieseline H640: 0.5 yard (0.5 metre).
- 2 yard/metres of 1” (2.5cm) cotton webbing for handles; Fray Check
- Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter, scissors, iron, Wonder Clips or pins, disappearing fabric pen or fine chalk pen.
