Shanti Pouch

The Shanti Pouch is a cute round zipper pouch to store your small items on the go. This is a beginner-friendly pattern that teaches you how to insert a zipper and how to sew curves. A full exclusive video tutorial accompanies the pattern.

You will receive 10 pages of comprehensive and clear step-by-step instructions and color photos that will teach you how to make this beautiful zipper pouch. A YouTube video tutorial is included in the pattern for visual learners. Pattern templates are provided in Letter, A4 and A0 format.

Approximate dimensions: 5” wide by 4” tall (12.7cm wide by 10.1cm tall)

• Exterior fabric: fat quarter of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas

• Optional contrast exterior fabric: scrap of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas

• Lining fabric: fat quarter of quilting cotton 

• 1/4 yard (1/4 metre) fusible fleece interfacing: Pellon TP971F or Vlieseline H640

• #3 NYLON zipper 6” (15cm) long minimum

• Optional: Key ring and lobster clasp

• Wonder clips or pins

• Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter, iron

• Disappearing fabric pen or fine chalk pen

• Zipper foot
