I designed this little pouch back in January 2024 as a personal challenge to see how small one could sew a cosmetic bag. Later that year, I also designed a tiny tote out of the same size pouch in vinyl by adding handles. After sharing the tutorials on Instagram, I decided this little pouch deserved a pattern of its own. To spice things up, I have included a new way to attach the handles with rivets, for the courageous! I hope you will enjoy this little pouch as much as the near million people who have used this tutorial on Instagram. These tiny pouches will be a great addition to your booth at the craft market, and will be also appreciated as gifts.

MATERIALS REQUIRED for 1 pouch:
- Exterior fabric: fat quarter (or quarter yard/quarter meter) of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas
- Lining fabric: fat quarter (or quarter yard/quarter meter) of quilting cotton
1/4 yard (1/4 metre) fusible fleece interfacing: Pellon TP971F or Vlieseline H640
- #3 nylon zipper 4” (10cm) long minimum
- Small lobster clasp and key ring
- Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter, iron
- Wonder clips or pins
- Disappearing fabric pen or fine chalk pen
- Zipper foot
- Optional: a 1” by 5” (3 x 13cm) piece of vinyl or cork fabric for the handles
- Optional: 4 small rivets, small punch and rivet press
